Can McTal deal with txt file
Dear Paul,
McTal works well for the .bnn output file. But FLUKA exports txt file for events, for example, (p,n) reactions and terminated protons.
Taking the output file of terminated protons as an example, the txt file contains three columns data, which respectively corresponds to (x,y,z) coordinates of the terminated protons in the target. Each line means one terminated protons. Please find the output file in below link. https://fz-juelich.sciebo.de/s/fQ9tlBlw2SDtmkf
I want to plot this kind of images.
The above figure indicates the spatial distribution of stopped protons in the target, the number in the color bar means how many protons stopped in unit volume, the unit is [1/primary/cm3]. The below figure is the normalized result based on above figure, which represents the percentage of stopped protons along target depth.
If it's not very time-consuming for you, could you please add this function into MaTcl? Best, Qi
